Karl Reed is an Adjunct Assoc. Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering at La Trobe University where he lead the $1.8m Amdahl Australian Intelligent Tool Program from 1989 to 1997. .He is a Fellow of ACS and EI Aust. His Research interests include.. Software Engineering, Testing, Requirements Reuse, Component Based SE, Process Recording and Modeling, Software Metrics, Process Measurement and Improvement,  Compileable Restricted Natural Language Processing, Organisational Resilience, Secure Supply Chain Management, Industry Policy, Linguistic Issues in SE Reuse, Design Isomorphisms, Relationship Between Software Development and Engineering, Web-page Design, High-level software Re-use, ,Data Access Control Mechanisms, Software Engineering Education
